Key Elements
- Signage for levels 1-4 of Town Hall House
- Internal and external branding elements
- Tactile maps, raised Braille text, and graphics
- “Glow edge” signage for night-time illumination
The City of Sydney engaged Singleton Moore Signs to upgrade the signage at Town Hall House in George Street. The project included design development, prototyping, and installation.
We provided the internal wayfinding and direction signage for levels 1-4 and furnished external branding elements in the form of City of Sydney roundels for a striking finish.
The fabricated wayfinding totems feature inset channel details along with interchangeable faces and a two-pack polyurethane spray finish. Braille maps, text, and graphics offer ease of access for visually impaired visitors.
Use of “glow edge” signage adds another dimension to the project. This eco-friendly, cost-effective lighting makes our signage slimmer and more portable. Brass signage elements were also incorporated to harmonise with existing on-site finishes.
