When we took on this project, it was something of an impossible task. Luckily, we love a challenge! West Hotel Sydney, located in Sussex Street, blends inner-city edge with waterfront serenity. Our signage had to reflect this classic yet cutting-edge combination.

Angles were everything for Sydney’s newest premier hotel. Every kind of possible angle was incorporated in the signage design. Acute, obtuse right and straight all played their part in making the four illuminated, under awning signs both spectacular and highly effective. Partnering with Corlette Design on the design aspect of this job was a breeze. Their expertise and unique styling produced this elegant result.

The project involved laser cut-out panels folded to in a series of innovative and challenging angle combinations. The panels were welded, constructed, then prepared and painted with a striking metallic finish.

Warm LED illumination ensures the signage does its job 24 hours a day. Part of the Hilton stable, this boutique designer hotel required illuminated signage suspended under the awning in four separate locations. Sophistication and effectiveness were both top priority in achieving a flawless result.
